RC Flight Training Bootcamp

Thank you for your interest at the 33rd Annual Fly-In. We invite you to join our RC Flight Training Bootcamp!

This bootcamp is intended for individuals who expressed interest in learning to fly at the 33rd Annual Fly-In. If you did not attend the Fly-In but would like to participate in future training opportunities, please complete the interest form on the front page of our website.

When:
• Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 6:00 PM
• Participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions for maximum learning and skill development.

What You'll Learn:
• Basic flight controls and safety
• Simulator training
• Buddy-box instruction with an experienced pilot

Who Can Attend:
• Complete beginners are welcome
• Youth and adults are encouraged to participate
• Children should be accompanied by an adult

What Is Provided:
• Training aircraft
• Flight simulator equipment
• Instructor assistance

What to Bring:
• Water
• Sunscreen
• Hat and comfortable outdoor clothing
• Folding chair (optional)

Cost:
• Free

Weather:
• Weather permitting
• Please meet at the field at 6:00 PM regardless of conditions, as training plans may be adjusted based on the weather

No prior experience is required. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and supportive introduction to radio-controlled flying. We look forward to helping you get started in the hobby!
